At such short notice, we arranged a small meet in southend last night and it turned out to be a good evening. Thumbs up to Jim, Fad, James, Andy and his very fine lady for all getting together at 2 hours notice for a night of banter in the warmth of Westcliff casino. Was good to meet Andy for the first time (mate, clean the car tho  ) and yer missus is nice, if a little shy 
Im going to arrange another meet like this for a saturday evening, towards the end of january/beginning of february, if we can do it on 2 hours notice then surely we can get a bigger crowd with over 1 months notice. As the guys will all verify, its not all about gambling, the bar is good and reasonably priced and the women in there are  and plenty of opportunity to throw down 20 quid if ya fancy it.
Membership is free, just remember to bring photo ID (Jim, you lucky lucky man) and you can either join yourselves or sign in as a guest of mine.
Meeting time would have to be about 7:30, any later and it gets fucking manic in there.
So, stick your names in my next thread, dates you can make around jan/feb on a saturday evening and lets have a good night.
