Ok from 1.2 8v will i need any more parts for 1.6 16v conversion?

i imagine you got the manifold and downpipe and the cat from the donor car as well?

also, get all of the sensors in the engine bay, you will need the secondary air pump solenoid and all the vaccum hoses(mounted on the passenger side wing)

so you are re-building it?

Manifold & downpipe yes! next line yes to all! n last line Cleasby - Durham or my Uncle who owns a Garage in Kelloe who pref doesnt want me to convert car to 1.6

cleasby are very expensive, but have heared mixed reviews on their work.

make sure you get someone that knows what they are doing, its not as simple as just replacing old stuff with new, every replacement part needs to be mic'd up before refitting new parts i.e bearings, rings, crank, etc...

i got a mate with a full gsi engine, gear box, ecu, loom, etc pritty much everything you need,

engine just had a new cam belt and service etc just before we pulled it out and fitted a redtop in for a laught.

pm me if ya interested. just down the road from the last meet at berkbrow as well mate
