3.has any one got any pics of this done

I did it wasent too hard

If you already have 6x9's you can use your exsisting wiring

Take out the rear quarter pannels by removing all of the torq screws and carefully pull. the popper clips will then come off. It would be easier if you took your rear seat bench out as you will have more room. i didnt but found it hard to work with it in there.

Once you have the pannels off you will be able to see what will obstuct the speaker and can therefore work out where the speaker needs to be located. i did this using cardboard templates to mark out the shape of the gap. i then trasfered this image onto the back of the pannel.

Once i was happy with the markings i cut them out using the cutting bit on my dremel (hacksaw or simular would be fine though as the material is not that tuff) i tidyed up the edges with sandpaper.

I refitted then losely refitted the pannel and inserted the speaker to check it fitted before going any further. Once i was happy it was ok i flipped the template over and repeated the process on the oposite pannel.

Because the pannels are not that thick i reinforced them with a sheet of mdf on each side. i worked out the maximum size that the pannels could be using a simular method of templates. i then cut out the hole for the speaker using a jigsaw. i then clamped it in place using some small clamps to make sure that the pannel fitted before gluing it in place with no more nails type glue.

Once the glue was set it was simply a matter of screwing the speakers in as you would normally and wiring them up
