Ok I've been there many a time now. It easy to get to, its off the bypass that goes to Skipton, first left off the second roundabout. (3rd if you count the one you get on the bypass on in Keightly). Its then on the left, you have to go down onto a forecourt for another business, think its caravans or somat. Its signposted I think anyway now.
This place is great to look at Jap Cars and sit in big arse R34s and single turbo Supras, however the majority of cars have not been looked after. Some days there is a door open to a compound round the back that you can't access, and its full of fresh off the boat bumped cars. They buy em cheap cos they're damaged and fix em up, I was told this by people in the trade, and by people who know people who've bought from them.
I'll use the example of my GTO Twin Turbo. Had been on several occasions to Keighley to look at them, with most the interior and bodywork was wrecked, and had they high miles.
On one occasion I went with Easty_T on here, and they jumped started an Evo then booted it round the corner from cold, and I mean booted it cos you could hear the dump valve when it was well out of site.
Staff didn't ever really seem interested, maybe they thought cos im 22 that I was just day dreaming.
In the end up I bought my GTO TT from an import place in Leeds. Totally fell in love with it when I went to see it and it was up on the ramps and got the chance to see it was well looked after. For the same money I got an aftermarket colour, some modifications, a £1,000 bodykit, excellent interior with only slight wear on the front leather, and 70,000 miles - half that a Keighley GTO usually has. The staff were proper interested aswell. Spent ages talking about cars with the manager and mechanics and even helped one of the guys with his uni assignment!
Thing to remember also is that any non-jap car at Keighley is more than likey a trade-in, and anyone trading a hot hatch for a jap beast is more than likely to have ragged it.
I'm not saying don't buy from there but if you are gonna then I'd advise taking someone who is mechanically minded and also invest in an HPI check. Other than that its a great place to just look at rare cars like a big jap Carcraft.
