Sometimes driving about the throttle will stick, eg when I'm changing gear or breaking, only noticed it a few days ago. Is this a serious problem or an easy fix?
EDIT - When I say stick, I mean at about 1500 revs in neutral, so not a lot but enough to be a problem

sounds like idle control valve needs a clean rather than it being a throttle problem

The engine is a 1.2 8 Valve, isn't it only the ecotech engines that have idle control valves?
(Sorry should have said in the first post:thumbs

if it's fuel injected it should have some way to control the idle.
and it's not only ecotec's that have them.
