Getting a blowing sort of noise hard to explain seems to be coming from the downpipe area of the manifold or around the lower part of the engine anyway... its louder when its cold... when its warm the noise pretty much vanishes am i right in thinking there might be a crack in the manifold because of the fact that it stops when it gets warmer when the air becomes denser...

Anyone else any ideas what it might be..

Cheers Rob

try what I said last time Rob, spray carb cleaner on the exhaust manifold while the engine is running but still cold, as it will stop hissing for a split second if there is an air leak.

Ok, might just ignore it and make it an excuse to get a 4-2-1
