is the gsi/1600 sport suspension lower as standard and if so by how much???
also are the shocks uprated from say 1.2 or 1.4 shocks??

about 15mm i guess the shocks are uprated/maybe just shorter.

id guess around 30mm tbh, this was wrightys car, its an ls with gsi bumpers and notice how much higher the suspension is compared to original gsi's...

gsi/sport is lowered 20mm compared to standard
shocks are the same though

So whe people say dont lower your car on standard shocks its onyl like lowering a GSI 10mm so surely uprated shocks arnt neccessary with a 30mm drop on a pov spec.

they say it cos its not as good as wit uprated shocks-iv found -40mm springs to be a huuge improvment handling wise-even on standard shox but im planning on getting it lower soon anyway. Think coilovers is best for a 2.0 as it can hold the weight of the engine much more efficiently..
