got some courtenay 2lt springs for my car, putting them with koni adjustable dampers. Aparently they lower the car 35mm, well erm no.





now i know its not going to be as low as my coilovers but come on, thats standard ride height It doesnt even handle that good, got loads more body roll, even on the hardest setting.

im not giving it chance. i doubt it will settle 30 odd mm and suddenly reduce body roll.

most likely get flogged. company i got them off wont take them back once they have been fitted if there not faulty. dunno what to do about the springs, nobodys going to want them after this thread

the springs would probably sell on ebay.

why not get some custom fronts made then you can keep the konis.

i need some new shocks but probably be out of my budget for the time being considering they're still new.

needed a new top mount on the drivers front, decided to do it properly and change both. Did one, all fine, came to undo the nut on top of the passenger side and it was so tight and fucked it split the piston right down the middle where it goes into the damper.

So had to change all the front suspesion co of one shitty nut. FKs are fucking wank.

i can get a full set of koni coilovers for £486. I know a set of springs arnt going to cost anywhere near that but at least i know they will be good, especially on track.

mines higher now and all I did was chame to new Koni Dampers...I dont think it handles as well as before either
