got talking to some lad the other day he was going on about his xe saying hed done this an done that an he said he is using the let injectors will this work an will this make any difrence he said he had a ported an polished head no cat air filter an a power car an a super chip

standard ones are fine on stock inlet.

they work fine.

There are thought to be some negative issue with nozzle spray pattern though.

I'm running let injectors.

i would have thought a let injector would have a larger spray pattern for the increase of fuel on a let

Unless your running aftermarket management it will overfuel with XE injectors, with no benefits.

Th spray pattern isn't related to the quanity sprayed. the early XE inecjtors have a single outlet, where as the later (blue and LET injectors has 4 outles in the nozzle tip, giving rise to a finerpetrol spray, whichin theory leads to better mixxing (due to smaller droplets) and a more efficent burn.

is that the difference. I agree j1400, finer the mist the better the burn. I just assumed the let injectors gave out "more" of a spray.

they do, beieg's are good for 44BHP a piece and yellow are good for 60-65BHP a piece, you can reduce the fuel pressure to get the flows simialr, but there's aoptimum pressure to attain the best mists on a spray.

yes, a cleaner more efficient burn will create a better running engine.

with std management etc, standard fuel requirements..... fitting LET injectors will do jack shit... prob overfuel
