it would be cheaper to just buy a x15xe ECU than to somehow completly re-map a x14xe.
Superchips etc only 'map' the fuel map. I'm sure there will be other differences between the ECU maps

My X16XE Corsa ran on a remapped X14XE ECU for ages until I went for aftermarket management mate.

Worked well too. Tried an X16XE ECU to see if it made a difference and it didn't.

would the remapped ecu have any advantages over a standard x16xe ecu?
the ecu i have has been mapped for cams, inlet and exhaust...
this is what i will have on my car

Can't get on MSN mate. The remapped ECU would have no advantages as such over the X16XE ECU. It was just basically an X14XE ECU which had been totally remapped to an X16XE map. I then had it remapped to accept my Mantzel, Cams, etc.
I have since gone to aftermarket management.
