It's the job of the Traffic Police to catch people in illegally modified cars though. Amongst other things.

The reason that the filth are going round stopping people in modified cars is because they havent got better things to do with their time so they go round stopping innocent people in their tricked out motors they need to get their f**king heads sorted out. about u getting pulled over soz to hear that man.

I thought it was due to the ammount of fatalities that happened a few years ago due to people with dangerous window tints, hence the recent change in law.
The Police are doing there job, they are quite right to pull people over who have cars that are dangerous. There are standards in design and engineering of cars for a reason. I know that everyone on this site would complain if some fool had done somthing to thier car which lead to an accident involving them.

That could be the reason or something similar to that situation, what i put in was my own opinion people may disagree but people got their rights to express their say and i respect that in a big way. Also i heard in the media sayin that young people are to blame for the roads being unsafe.....

That is the reason for the changes in legislation over window tints according to the document outlining the new laws.
Statisticaly young drivers are dangerous.

the rason the reason the police do it is to inforce the law. you need to just accept there are laws which govern road cars and not be so arsy about the poice doing their job. its alwasy strange how the people that complain are the ones breaking the law. and lets be honest people in "tricked out motors" as you put it are usually driving like twats and braking the law somehow

true true but you gotta admit that the media has kind of put it way out of proportion, end of the day i know there are laws for peoples protection and well being but in a sort of sense that anybody behind a wheel of a motor is classed as a liability maybe some more than others but thats how i see it.

i know it hasnt been in the papers or news but its just people comming out with sterotypical views and i cant stand people like that it just gets me quite annoyed. and that thing about calling the police filth it just popped into my head and it was a figure of speech.
