no been on this for a while coz internets been playing up & no been out & about for a while either coz the cars been playing up too! :evil:
to start of with, it just started to severely lose power, wouldny go over 50, but now when i start it up, it starts up for a couple seconds before completely cutting out :?
think its something to do with the exhaust coz its been making a bit of a rattling sound, the trouble is i cant take it anywhere to get it seen to! 
anyone any ideas? (& dinny say burn it!!  )

i changed the sppedo dials a few month back to the red lockwood 1s but iv never had any problems with them tho apart from the petrol gauge coz the needle wont seem to go back to normal (when the cars of, the needle stays about 1/3 the way full but when turn the key, it just moves as normal only always 1/3 more than there is) but i do have petrol in my car!

1.2 8v. the electrics are sweet but ma pal thinks the exhaust could be blocked as its a straight through decat 1, & the fumes arent getting out & going back into the engine... could this theory be true?

check my post about icv valve had similar problem and spent loads trying to fix it turned out to be my distributor was knackered

Just see if you can borrow one from a local garage to try it. (i dont think there cheap)
