My mates got a 2 litre Nova and its pretty quick. Was wondering what the difference would be to a 2ltr Corsa?

there is enough differnce to notice, look at rob_lee's Nova run a 15.5 with a standard c16xe, now my x16xe with dblias etc has only ever run a 16.2 max...

There is alot of differnce.

most novas weigh fook all because there's not a lot of actual good metal left on there, kinda like drilling holes in a chassis to reduce weight only a random unstoppable process

My 1.6 16v nova beat loads of corsa XE's.

They just seem too heavy.

My old 2.0 16v ran 14.6 all day long... corsa xe's seem low 15's and a few hitting mid 14's

Tip, If you have an XE corsa, then strip it!

Nothing hampers speed and acceloration like weight!

a standard corsa weighs in at more than a cavalier saloon whereas a nove weighs just slightly more than a walkers crisp packet
