whats everyone done for the alt belt on their corsas?
ive got a late dispak xe with a multirib beltand obviously the alternator is bolted rigidly to the engine! With the pas pump gone, im left with no way of tensioning the belt. How have you all solved this? i would liek some form of screw tensioner, but what have you all done? Any pics?

I have used the multi belt on mine. I had to move the PAS pump up, which involved making new brackets, make a new enginemount to clear the belt and hammer the chassis leg in to clear the alternator. Problem is that the belt snapped on me last night. It was running fine for a month and just went (it was a new belt as well).

I dont have the pas pump at all, so will need a shorter belt and some means of tensioning it. It seems the early setup fits, so Ill use that.
It then seems that the engine doesnt clear the chassis leg with the multirib belt on. is this just on std engine mounts? Mine have been reinforced, will this prevent it touching, or do I have to change the complete early setup?
