I know a few people on here have done it, so can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to do? my alloys have slight kebing round the edge so is there anyway to get rid of this? filler?
Then how do you prep it for spraying?
any help appreciated cheers

High grit glasspaper will get rid of curbing quickly enough.

Strip the paint off them...
Fill in the kerbing with filler...
Sand nice and smooth...
Prime using high build primer...
Sand the primer smooth with some 800 grit wet and dry...
Paint with some pearlescent alloy paint (you will probably need to do all 4 to get a match)... Or in whatever colour you like...
Laquer...
Sand with some 1800-2000 grit wet and dry if required and/or compound polish...
