Well after 3 months of waiting the GSI is finally back on the road and I must say its a totally different car compared to the missus GTI, her car is soooo much better handling wise and upto 70-80mph there aint much in it. Makes me realise I really need to get the PAS fitted to lol, the corsa has a much more solid feel to it though, just need to take it easy for a while to make sure everything runs in ok

well first off, the radiator got a hole in it, i drove it home and blew the head gasket due to lack of water. had to wait for ages for someone to start work on it, orderd all the parts and when the guy came to fix it the threads in the block sheared off. head and everything had to come back off and luckily the block re tapped ok, now everything is hunky dory, so all in all the car has had full gasket set, water pump, timing belt kit inc rollers and tensioners new plugs oil and filter so it now runs like a dream.. till next time lol
tbh i've had the car 4 years now and this is the first time that the engine has ever went wrong which is really my own stupidity driving it without water
