today i attempted to fit my flocked dash. all went well untill it came to putting the dials back in. after about 1hr of stuggling at trying to connect the speedo cable i gave up and gave the gf's car a wash.
i will attempt the dials again when ive got a clear head.
anyone got anytips? im not keen on removing the speedo cable from the gearbox as i can only just see it never mind get to it lol
i also sprayed the dials black as the light grey was horrid

'kin ell never fancied a dahs out myself far too many wires
I have no idea if it will help, but its nigh on impossible to re-fit calibra ones without taking them to bits so u can attach the cable behind then pop the glass etc back on after wards?

To reconnect the cable, pull it as far out as possible, then you've gotta have long fingers and be dextrous enough to hold the clocks in with your thumbs whilst using your forefingers to squeeze the cable back on.
It's a mare, done it three times now.

Mate my ECU went behind the plastic trim in the drivers footwell behind the triangular vinyl trimmed section that is held in by the door sills, was a fucker to get in there but it did fit eventually
