well its been a while in the pipeline but ive finally got my astra GSi ive had it nearly a month now but havn't cleaned it up properly till this week.
i spent 2 hours cleaning and 1 hour polishing her on friday with my new electric buffer, its alright but i think doing it by hand gives better results.
then saturday saw me cleaning it again for a further hour (rain on friday night) and then i had the wax out so shes blingin now so i thought id take some pics to see what you guys think.

she needs some tidying up here and there, nothing major though but its all part of the fun!
ill be making a big parts order next week to get the ball rolling for show season, these include:
-new bumpers (both are a bit tatty and mr. bodyshop says to get a new bumper to blend my splitter to)
-splitter
-FK coilovers
-17" Comp MO's
- a re-worked exhaust system
-Morretes
then shes off to the bodyshop in may for:
-rear arches sanded, sprayed, and sealed
-tailgates getting re-sprayed and having the little rust marks behind the window seal treated
- bumpers sprayed
-and windows tinted
and i also need to track down a good c20xe to transplant
as you can tell ive got quite a bit of work to do but im aiming to have everything done for PVS

i think its brilliant and can't really fault it apart from the standard handling as said, but as long as you keep a bit of power on when going round corners it seems to stick ok. soon sort it when the coilovers arrive though

bit too pricey for me. looking for a cheap one to rebuild from scratch. does anyone have any ideas on the rebuild cost of an XE?
