corsa b gsi m reg - central locking operates the doors and fuel flap ok but the boot solenoid isnt working - changed the solenoid for a known working one but still doesnt work

anyone got any suggestions as to what to try next?

get some one to operate the central locking and you have a look to see if solenoid is trying to function

have you used a multi-meter to see if there is any electrical current coming thru to the solenoid

not yet havent got a multimeter but i will get hold of one and try that - dont spose theres any fuses for this is there?

think its an earth problem as the rear wiper/bootlight/heated screen aint working either!

everything goes to one eart in the boot lid
