Got my car back couple of weeks ago from it gettin a service, its now stuttering when starting and stalling sometimes, engine management light comes on sometimes and had a really bad overheating problem. Im just wonderin if this might be cuz of the induction kit? do they not F*ck about with the AFM and cause problems? Cheers

Could be throttle body playing up. I've read that symtoms are overheating and can cause engine management light to illuminate. Could be but not 2 sure buddy

Replaced the rubber pipe and it still overheating like a whore, . Could it be the head gasket? opened the water tank and the water was boiling becasue it was so hot. Makes a funny smell when im driving aswell, like if i stop at a junction and have got the heater on, i can smell..........i dunno.....oil i think. There's no oil or water around the rocker or gettin out anywhere else tho.

went to see someone at vauxhall and the said it aint the head gasket. It could be ICV or the thermostat. Took it down from Aberdeen to leicester this weekend , ran really good but had to stop twice and top the water up as she ran a little hot for awhile.

Change the thermostat. Not a lot of cost.

Is the thermostat not on the front left side of the engine? Its got 3 torx bolts to undo the cover.
