I take it there's a limit to how much you can back to black the arches?

The front and back bumper have turned out really good, they're as black as anything now.

The problem is the arches, they were white when I first got it ( colour coded themselves ) now they're grey and have been for the last few days, it's like they don't wana take in any more of the black to black?

Is there any other way to get them black apart from back to blacking? Don't get me wrong, they look ten times better now than they did a few weeks ago but it looks like they aint guna improve any more

Meguiars Gold Class Tyre Shine on the plastics

Did this to a mates Punto the other day - he hadn't bothered to clean it in a year, and was starting to look quite abused (very grey bumpers being one thing!!!!) After a couple hours hard cleaning, and treating all the plastics with Meg's, it looked like this:

That was at Easter, saw it again last night, and he hasnt cleaned it since, yet the bumpers have stayed pretty much as black as they are in that pic

Tyre shine on the plastics

Spoons - I'm using some liquid stuff, apply it onto a cloth then rub it into the arch.

Yeh the tyre shine stuff realli works! Doesnt go streaky either. And also dies the plastic a bit again. Other option if not is to get the sprayed black, then u wont ever have to worry again! But is bit expensive!

i just use ordinary silicone spray polish every time i wash it-
keeps it shiny black and beads water lol

once a month or so, i use some thick black shoot- just to keep the colour
you could use shoe polish, i swear lol..
