150-160 fo a basic tb kit bolted on, 190 without getting forged rods and pistons can be had.

ive got one. running 170(ish) bhp. absolutely love it, even tho its noisy, smelly, uncomfortable, a bitch to drive, drinks optimax and has cost me thousands

faster than most things on the road. look in my garage for inspiration

agreed just been driving a 320 porsche 996 carrera, its a fantastic car, then got in my corsa nad loved it equally for the random noise, stripped out rattles and throttle body snort.

i went after a 172 cup the other day and had to keep backing off, love it! the diff makes roundabouts so much more fun

be nice to see over 200bhp on standard rods and pistons, but not sure it can, there is alot more room for more mapping, im on the hunt for a bit more torque now tho, this will mean a drop in bhp....

more torque would be good. have you got a spec list of your car somewhere. i am building my gsi rite now.

Its all about being different!

I loved my 2ltr but everyone had one.
C20LET is heading that way.

The 1600 is a superb little engine, i still love my old 1600 mantzel engine in my mates car. Still goes very very well and gives any 2ltr corsa a run for its money

I want to build a nova next year as a project and that will be 1600 on tb's
