That's a remarkably simple design. Does it use a standard differential, or does it have an LSD bolted on? Do you know what car the parts are off too, like the diff and suspension?

It looks like a great piece of work!

There are some vids of converted 106's on the internet somewhere, it's on a Spanish site I think. In the last thread Beardy put up everyone said they this kind of conversion would be slow or pointless, needless to say, these vids show you otherwise!

Time it take's depends on the spec your after really i would say.

The diff/LSD setup is there own designed setup, as for suspension is all custom stuff.

They are Awesome bits of kits, the R1 Saxo can do 0-60 in 4's (we recon 3's on the right day) and they handle really really well around a track aswell

But i am sure people will see this once i post the pics up of us on the track.

As i have said if anyone wants a ride in there cars around the track, feel free to come along to are track day and we will take you out for a run

whats the spec of the engine? what power / torque does it make?

Despite the RWD ness, unless the engine's like 200 bhp or whatever, I don't understand why it'd be so quick?

160 bhp in a Bike = FAST due to light / not much drag

the characteristics of the engine make it fast, not just the output, ie revs to 10, 000 etc

as steve pointed out, its the fact that the engine spins up so incredibly easy.

Car performance is more than BHP and lb/ft. You can rev the living tits off of a bike engine. They are light and they are powerful.

I also love the way he's kept the car looking so normal. Absolutely brilliant.

Will he be tubbing the rear wheels in so it's good for damp use, or leaving it like that and just using it in the dry?

And is he going to fit a firewall behind the seats?

As i have said its not finish and will have a firewall when done, in the R1 Saxo then have a firewall on that one

he will be leaving the wheel archs as they are, and use them only in the dry (shows the work off more) BUT if people where to get one they could have then covered.

as for performance look at ZCars Mini's and there proven time and the saxo isent much more weight as they have lost alot.
