ive done a quick search on this but havent found the answer im looking for. when i serive me ex, whats best oil to put in? 5w30? 10w40?

10w40 GM stuff i believe, think its about £18ish for 5 litres...

The 5w 30 might help noisey tappets but if its high mileage it might burn more and if it leaks it will leak worse.

I use good old 10w 40 semi-synth from Vaux. Change every 8K miles.
