Are these still 120bhp?

Becuase i raced one for the 3rd time last week (when my car was standard) and he was only just pulling away from me... So im guessing now ive had the exhaust done, it should be pretty level

I really can't understand why they only pull away slowly, well im guessing they wont now ive had the exhaust done. Strange

the later model is a 130bhp version and the earlyer is a 120 bhp version

the 1st one i raced, i just thought, ''argh, maybe it isnt running right''

Then the 2nd one, i thought, ''maybe another not runnig right!''

But this is the 3rd one now, so it made me think the old ones are alot slower than the new ones.

well, he was only slowly pulling away when it was standard, now ive got 4-1 manifold, decat and full system, i think i cud proberly keep up wiv the one i raced when mine was standard.

I would have thought i would beat a 1.6 corsa...but never driven or been in a 1.6 corsa so can't really comment

For a START - there is no later model 130 bhp bullshit. Just some made more power than others.

Secondly it always seems like 'Wow it's not pulling away too quickly' - just because that's what it looks like - its an illusion.

Also at higher speeds there shouldn't be much in it.

Finally don't forget about driver etc.

Get your car to the pod and prove yourself

I was at pod recently when I just had exhaust filter and was doing 15.3's where other VTS's / 106 gti's there were still doing mid 16's

Sly_Sri had a dbilas inlet manifold, exhaust system and induction and my standard gti still pull away from him.
