Thinking of selling my car and using setting up a business that involves a trailer. Never towed before, won't be a particularly big trailer but i dont think i could live with myself putting a towbar on my punto gt so any ideas of something thats good for towing, under 2k? Some sort of diesel i guess??

You'll not get a good one for sub-£2k.
I'd say a big-engined Volvo like the T5 or 2.5 V5 V70.

LPG V8 range rover classic auto...

You need to watch weights when towing. If you plan to tow a lot, plan to have a heavy ass torquey auto car. Simple
