I went to look around at some cars today and really cant decide what to get. Here's a list of possibilities
Mk V VW Golf - 2.0 FSI
Mk lV VW Golf - TDI
Mk iV VW golf - V6
Newest shape Vauxhall astra - 2.0 turbo (3 door)
Newest shape Vauxhall astra - 1.8 SXI
Audi A3 (old shape) - not sure on model
any other suggestions?

Do you want a diesel or petrol? Seems you've got mixed choices there

Think I'd go for a MKIV Astra GSi over a new shape turbo as they have less power.

yeah i was thinking about the mk IV astra but everyone on here seems to be getting them, plus i havn't really seen many new shaped astra's with a decent set of alloys and coilovers and i think it would look pretty swish

Have you had a go in any of the cars yet?
I've been in both the VW Golf and New Astra and the Astra feels poverty compared to the Golf...

If it was me i think i'd go for a 2.0 Turbo Astra Sport Hatch, we had one in at work with all the Irmscher kit on it was a lovely looking car. Can probably get it up to good power easily and cheaply too, will only be the ECU restricting it to 170 bhp i would imagine.
