Ive had a look through search but cant find anything definitive. Are these kits any good? I dont earn alot of money so doesnt make sense to spend alot on suspension, I'm looking for a 45/50mm drop so suggestions are welcome.

thanks

60mm will be too low as the rims i'm looking at getting have quite a low offset.

Glad this question came up, might try the Apex springs myself cos I have 35mm Pi springs on my Mk3 Fez and they aren't as nice I was led to believe.

There's a few sets on Ebay atm, with your budget you should be okay.

just had a look on that site, I dont understand why they can only do 40mm lowering kits for the GSi. How come they say some kits are not for the GSi, what's different?

Pi really are the cheapest out there!

If you look Total Vauxhall or on Larkspeed you can get some decent deals.

bilstein or koni.

apex, pi, jamex and especially g-max ive found to be very shit.

took some g-max off a car today. handling was very bad and the ride was shockingly poor. fitted some bilstein stuff and its 100 times better

When I spoke to you a while back I was that close to buying the bilstein sprintline kit, but I had a 'mishap' in my car and spent quite abit of money getting it sorted. I have set a budget because I have other stuff to pay for, the apex kit is better than standard, anyway.
