Well Iv started using the rusty old 1.5d to go back and forth from work and unless the guage is broken fuel economy so far seems to good to be true, I know it will suffer from the normal corsa 75% to the first half 25% to the second fuel gauge trait but even so check this out after 170 very hard miles

At the moment I've done 120 miles in my 1.2 8V and the gauge is just about where yours is now, I'd say it's just another case of very very inaccurate gauges

was on very very very slight down hill a hill, when i first had it i filled it to the top then did my normal daily drive (50 miles) I then re filled it and it would only take £4.50 and that was filling it righjt up the filler neck so inactual fact if i had stopped when it started to click (did this at the first fill it would only have cost £3!!

Impressive fuel economy. My 1.5TD compared to 1.2 8v I had, really does lots of miles on a tank. And I also drive it a lot on the 2.5k - 3k rpm range (turbo kicking).
