ditto...
mine has been moved to the boot provisionally, as every one else who has done this just put a distribution block in the engine bay, with a power cable to it from the boot?
and earth wise... the engine loom has an earth on it, am i ok just puttin a strap from negative to bodyshell, and then just earthing that loom i the engine bay, or is it best 2 run another distribution block, this time with a cable to negative??

0-2 gauge will be fine, also make sure your earth cable is no more than a foot long, the battery should be vented

this is my set up took about a day
forgive the mess work in progress! used 0 gauge on my set up. 1 bit of advise ill offer if u pound a decent sound system off the battrery in the boot the wire is going to get very hot so be careful about what gauge u use, ive used 0 gauge to be on the safe side. remember the wire charges as well as runs the car so is bound to get a lot of current through it
