If I choose the right company will they get rid of the bubbles around the dotted bits of the window, on the rear bit of the car? The last lot I used left it round like this:
I want it to be all black

Apparently not:

But i think you can... my mums lexus has pitch black rear windows without any bubbles but this is because it was done direct at the factory... i think you can actually buy some form of tinted window not done by a film .etc

Right, if it can't be helped it doesn't matter. After I had those rears done I had the front sides done by someone else and he said I should have been told to rub my thumb round the bubble bits everyday, eventually they would have gone. It helped a bit. I'll see what the next company I use say

You're talking about the thin silver band round the edge aren't you, that's caused by the black bobbles on the standard glass
You can scratch off the black crap so it doesn't happen. Or if you go to a descent company and pay a descent price they will keep it for a couple of days and do it properly so the band doesn't appear.

Can you use the heated rear window with tints? As I fear that if I do them bubbles start to appear both with sunlight and with the heater of the window.

yes u can see the heated rear window with tints. u shouldnt get any bubbles mate, if u do them properly, or if u pay sumbody to do it proffesionally. I use my rear heater on my window all the time and i havnt got any bubbles.

Just to add, any tints on the front are illegal AFAIK.

When I had mine done the guy told me not to put the windows down or use the rear heater for 3 days to allow it to dry properly.
As for the illegal on front. This is true, but a lot of places will still do it if asked. My Dads car has medium smoke front and rear and he hasn't been in trouble for it yet and they've been on for over a year now

Hopefully the company I choose will be able to get rid of them, and they offer front sides but do tell you it's illegal, although they ask the reg of your car and mention when the law came into effect

When I had the corsa done back in the day I had to pay cash for the fronts to be done and there was no receipt lol.
I drove about for a year no trouble, but I know someone in Romford that got told by the police to take it off a week after having it done!!!
Actually I need the backs tinted on another car. Anyone know of a place in southend? Racetech did my Corsa but I'm told it's different people now and they dont do it (

needs the dot matrix surface around the windows rubbed down very slightly to get rid of the band effect!
But this can cock up your heated rear window side windows should be fine though!
