i doubt it will, bent and owen wouldnt go well together, and i doubt newcastle would risk another 12mil after what happened to owen.

Owen is injured again for 5 months, the domestic season starts in just over a months time they need a prolific strikers ASAP because Ameobi & Chopra aren't up to the job

I'd leave Charlton for that. I mean Charltons new boss is Iain Dowie FFS, he's clueless. Plus Roeder transformed Newcastle when he took over, now he's their real Boss and he has money he'll make things much more his own. Newcastle are a sleeping giant.

I trust Glenn Roeder (more than Gayame Souness) so if that's what he wants to spend his money on then I will not argue he's the boss.

Plus, Bent hasn't really got much competition keeping him as a sub, he should be starting every game providing he's injury free, would be good if he goes.

Newcastle fans are very passionate... ive never heard a group of fans cheer their team on so quickly after they went 2-0 down in my life

Roeder hasnt really done much at newcastle in terms of a transformation as nobody has came in or gone out... i think its team spirit thats been changed if anything

Agreed. I think its more a case of Roeder giving them sense of security and commitment within the team. Will have to see how well they do next season, Owens no doubt come as a blow to them though.
