To find a strut brace that fits over the power cap and wasnt major expensive!!!!. £30 all in on Ebay for this bad boy and is good quality

I used to have one of them... designed for a 1.4/1.6, will fit anything (except lexmaul)

So I hear.. I drove my brother's with no strut brace, no anti roll bar and the cross member needed welding becuase there was a massive hole in it 
Just wheel spun and under-steered as soon as u planted ur foot into the bend..

I had one on 1.4 can honestly say it felt no different on or off! I also took it off due to lexmaul think i still have it somewhere!!!

I supose it'll be more noticeable with a heavier engine up front? or am I talkin crap?

mine is fine in the dry if you drive it right, in the wet forget it!!!

In theory an x16xe should be lighter than a x14xe anyway

Yes, I have to agree. Wet + Islands + Corsa's = alot of understeer!!

Thought it would of been with the extra strain on the shell etc.
