Apparentley we're the current favourites to sign Argentina midfielder Javier Mascherano. We've also got a keen interest in Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres.
Bayern Munich are homing in on RVN too...
Will need a striker if RVN goes..

How much is Mascherano going for?
I doubt you'll get Torres, as if you go for them Chelski will and they'll easily outbid you. Plus I doubt you've the money to spend 25mil+ on him and still buy the rest of the players you need to strengthen the squad.

From the game last night I personally think Torres is a bit of a diver (good player though)
I think Tevez looks awesome though

then in that case you def arent going for Torres. As you dont have 40mil to spend on just two players, even if you got rid of RVN for around 10mil.

Tevez will cost 30mil + simply due to the limits on buying people from South America and their FA deciding on the prices.

any young prospects coming out of S.A have their prices set by their FA (of kinds), so even if the club said they want 10mil, the FA could say he is worth 30mil.

Sorry mate I thought you were talking about our FA, even so surely there has to be a limit to any fee they could impose, and I'm amazed that this hasn't been challenged leagally, it's effectively holding the player hostage

tevez would be better signing but torres is still a fantastic player. im a liitle unsure on mascherano (also unsure on the spelling of his name :lol. still wouldnt sell ruud imo, but if hes already going then we need to flas the cash for torres lol. chelsea wont outbid us as theyve just got shevchenko and i think theyre spending for this season will die down soon.... (if it was next season we made a move they definitely would do however)

Well anyone can forget siging Tevez or Mascherano, MSI took them to Corinthians last year, and both re-signed initial contracts as they love it there, Chelsea approached Tevez before the World Cup, and he had a Man Utd shirt on, got done but his reply was "I'm sponsored by Nike aren't I?"
MSI won't allow them to be sold as they have something to do with their sponsorship for international duty, so unless Roman or the Man U moneymen dip into their wallets even further, it's only still a slight chance of it happening.

Only the stupid clubs (Real, Inter etc) will bid for Tevez/Mascherano IMO
Arsenal tried to sign Mascherano for £4.5m 2 yrs back but failed in a work permit before they got anywhere
Torres will go to a big club in England IMO be it Chelski, Arsenal, Man Utd or Liverpool IMO
BTW how gay are real Fannyingh around saying they will sign everybody
Fuck off - you're shit
I reckon Maxi Rodriguez will be a good buy if anyone goes for him!

Ricardinho and Marcelinho used to hate each other, Ricardinho has played for Corinthians twice, Marcelinho is in his 3rd spell there.

nah mate. weve got around £20-25 million to spend just this summer ( i hesitated to call it summer with the recent weather but you know what i mean).. but thats the limit... and we need more than one player, hence we cant spend it all on torres or whoever
