aaah, right. if its a runabout, probably better getting something thats cheaper to run/insure, unless you are getting it really cheap?

Well I don't really intend on spending a lot on it tbh.

Cambelt would cost another ton anyway and I can't be arsed doing a cambelt myself again.

Would like to just run about to work etc , tidy it up a bit and sell on once my cars finished.

Do you reckon I could sell on for more ?

because the sri engine doesnt last all that long from my experience (not unles you can afford cambelt changes etc when it decides to be gay)

mate ... the sri is a great car.... but honestly if its at 90 odd k miles, itll need a cambelt and water pump. and the EGR valves always go on them (piss to change)

so yes for £500 notes its a bargain, failry quick, look good and CAN be reliable, but its a gamble

I had a 1.4 16v Sport that had 76k on it, same engine. Ran it for a year no problems. Cambelt was changed at 65k when I bought it.

if the cambelt has been done, go for it, if not, its a bit risky, but its a runabout

you'd probably get most of the £500 if you stripped it if the engine went bang anyway by the looks of it. Tints, lowered, spoiler (although not to my taste) etc. Can't complain for £500
