my cd player keeps turning on and off..
no sound comes through just light comes on and then goes off...
its a kenwood 7027
any help?

this a random switch off? or ove rthe bumps?
i know it may sound obvious but i had the same cos of a power cable wasn't attached.
well i say that, it worked itself loose and each bump it jogged, i thought it was the CD skipping but it was the power lead getting knocked!

well surley if its staring its getting power.. no its does it when im stationary aswell

if the connection is bad it will shut off may be a tad loose even stood it will still turn off with not having a proper connection amps do same thing

ive tried a mates cd player and that works fine..
what do you think is causing my cd player to turn on and off?

If youve tried a mates and thats ok, logic says the cd player unit is at fault...probably an internal fault with the unit
