need to know which sand paper to use to colour code handles and front bumper and wheel arches. I need to get rid of the bumpy effect and i want a shiney finish after its all done ? need quick answer please

just 1200 ? or others will this give me the shiney effect after primer, paint and lacquer?

The way to do the arches is to 40 grit it all so it's really scored and furry. Then shoot it over with a few coats of high build plastic primer, then 400 grit then 800 grit to get a smooth base for colour - you may need a coat or two more of primer after. Then colour and clear.

With the door handles you are better off spending a few quid on just buying the pre-primed handles as every set of painted black ones I have seen have come out a little bit badly.

it certainly is not. u dont want to do that. sounds like a mess. the proper way to do this is simply give them a scotchbrite with red scotch and high build prime. flat this down and if needed re prime then paint... ull have no probs with scores or furry either this way
