still wouldnt be legal because of the visibility of the bulbs through the paint, i would be very surprised if they are at all. would be nice for shows etc if you like that sort of thing.

SOrry but how can you say that without having them, i had black lights and they were black, but the light shon through, and i just put a reflector on and it sailed through its MOT...
i dont think there would be any trouble with the light shineing through on those.

the only thing i noticed with the lights was reverse was light blue (but reverse lights arent mot testable) all the others seemed to shine through ok. as for them being lagal, i wouldnt think they wouldnt be as they have been painted so not e-approved etc. just tried painting a spare set whilst i was painting but i didnt like them personally

had black lights myself mate, swapped them in favour of mhd smoked ones. got pulled numerous times due to the lights, which is why i presumed they would not be road legal, the light shone through fine at night but in the day was very poor.
