just trying to get pics from pc to phone (810i) even when i store the pics in the same folder as the camera pics they still wont show

Your not trying to access the pics while the cable is in are you?. The won't show while it's connected. Move the .jpgs to the DCM folder.

no mate, thats exactly what i did. when plugged in it shows theyre there, but when i unplug and look through the phone, theyre not there

i had this problem
resolved it by putting them in the images folder under media files

If you rename them to the same format as they are in the photofolder DSC0001 or whater in sequence then I'm sure that also works.
