Can 17" alloy's fit straight onto a corsa b 1.4 sport or will they rub
or will arch mods have to be done to get them to fit will it be better just fitting 16" instead any help will be welcome as not sure what route to take

If they have a good offset you should'nt experiance any troubles. You want as close to 49 as possible for the offset. 45-49 is the ideal offset really. But personally i'd go for 16's anyway but if you want 17's then go for it.

if they catch just get rid of bolts etc and bond the arches back on

Had 17's on my old B et45 lowered 40mm, only rubbed with 4 ppl up and on large bumps..Shouldn't get too much trouble, the offset is the main thing..
But personally too I would get 16's

mines lowered 60mm on 17's nto sure on offset, ive had the bolts chopped off and the arches glued on at the back and they only rub if i go over huge bumps fast, just gotta get the front done when i have the money as its not liking fast corners at the mo!

go for 19s and lowered 60mm it is possible
