why do people blank off the EGR port on the inlet when they fit powerboxes????does it improve power or something (can't see how)

they do this on the early gsis because they dont have a egr so they blank it off as its not needed

but im heard of people with the x16xe puting a blanking plate on the inlet

hmmm.... there is no need on the x16xe so i dont really see what the benifit is

exactly so i can't understand why people do remove it!iv got a homemade powerbox sitting that home, which i will be fitting in the near furture, so i will just leave the EGR valve on

you need a blanking plate on the inlet manifold to blank off where thr throttle body used to sit
