Took my pride and joy for a MOT and it is no longer my pride and joy...
Failed Miserably is the problem, So the problem is, Can either Fix it, Sell it (with no MOT), Trade it in ?? (if u can with no MOT)... or take it doon the strathy and burn it for insurance money...Anyway heres whats wrong, thoughts???
Measurements:
Brakes Failures: RBT Park Brake Efficency: 13% (no more handbrake Turns for that then )
Tested Items that Failed:
01 Rear Exhaust System has a mounting that it does not fully support the exhaust system.
02 Nearside front brake hose ferrule excessively corroded
03 Offside front brake hose ferrule excessively corroded
04 Offside rear parking brake recording little of no effect
05 Nearside rear wheel bearing has excessive play
06 Nearside rear wheel bearing has excessive roughness in a rear wheel bearing
07 Offside rear wheel bearing excessive roughness in a rear wheel bearing
08 Parking brake efficency below requirements
So thats the end of that then? any suggs on what to do with it? and cost wise to get it fixed?

If it's your pride and joy then git it fixed.
Most of those parts are quite a cheap fix if you DIY.

1 by a new rubber about £2 each
2 and3 replace the hoses £15-£20 max for standard ones

5,6 and 7 new bearings required about £5-7 each
8. see number 4
its 2-3 hour work once you have the parts 1/2 a day if you take you time while your at it change the front pads
