Car looks good mate - see you debadged the 1.8 bit? I did this with the 1.2 and Twinport on mine

Any other plans for it other than the ones mentioned?

nah i had the boot resprayed after someone crashed into the back of me, and they put those badges on, was going to debadge it anyway. Maybe tints, not much else as i think its nice as it is

Tom, the side strips on the side of your car, they just pull off like the back boot badges don't they? Just I've heard some horror stories that people have been taking them off and they find Vauxhall haven't painted under the strips. Was thinking of taking mine off but was wanting to know before I do it

yeah there were no side strips so cant help you sorry Grey but even if you found they hadn't you could just stick them back on?

there's paint underneath so no need to worry about that.

what you need to look out for though is that the paint hasn't faded over time. It's relatively safe to pull the rub strips off when the car is perhaps 1 or 2 years old. Anything over this though and there's a possiblity that you'll be left with a small whiteish strip running down the length of your car.

Saying this though, I pulled the rub strips off on my C and was left with a small white line. After a few weeks in the sun it actually faded away

I say do it anyway. You can always buy the strips from Vauxhall and put them back on again
