So the other halfs GSi gave up the ghost a couple of weeks ago managed to drop a valve and do some lovely bottom end damage.

We are still no where near coming to a conclusion of what to do with it.... (its being kept regardless)

Just before PVS i returned the car totally back to standard bar the front badge it needed a new one....

We was really pleased with the attention it got at the show, and on the road also. I think its another car Vauxhall got totally spot on from the factory.

Problem we have is do we stick with the standard theme and replace the c16xe and take the opportunity to really tidy up the engine bay (as i had planned anyhow)

Or do we rework the whole thing and fit a c20let and go for balls out power?

The guys on VXSCC have said keep it standard which is my plan really..............

Thoughts?

Put a new 1.6 in it, but uprate all the internals, port/polish etc - in other words keep it looking standard on the outside, just see if you can get as much out of the engine as possible.

LET would really need suspension and brakes, which would probably mean wheels as well.

Its nice to see a standard one, but its also nice to have a quick, mildly modded one, suppose you already have your white one for that though.

i don't like the idea of a standard one, nova sport etc maybe, but corsa gsi isn't special enough to have a minted standard one

i'd go the same route as ollie and his nova, keep it subtle but very classy
