you can but i cant get my head around how it would work, i cant see how its a true throttle body setup there must be some bodging involved basically must just be the equivalent of sticking a cone filter on your turbo but that wouldnt be throttle bodies
surely the air must be forced into the throttle body trumpets making it sealed?

They don't work properly though as far as I understand. They just re channel the air form the turbo. Something like that anyway!

you replace the inlet manifold with throttle bodies, and have a plenum chamber on the end of the bodies, and the boost pipe joined directly to it
problem is, its difficult to get them set up well as a small change in boost equates to a massive change in airflow through the TBs, so mapping is an arse
its only worth the effort on big power cars really

yes. you have 4 individual throttle bodies.
its like running a pipercross airbox, with it connected to the turbo, the bodies are still the same
lots of TBs are not pressure rated though, you have to make sure they can handle it

you have to have an air tight air box custom made around the trumpets and an inlet for your boost pipe

The turbo acts more like a leaf blower than actually forcing the air into the engine?

alot of jap cars come with throttle bodies and turbos as standard.

throttle bodys are exactly that wether they are open or enclosed! White doesnt become black just because you have turned the light off!
Beardy what car is that engine in?

Not meaning to nitpick, but technically white does become black in the absence of light, as the white "colour" is produced by the surface reflecting all visible light...
Get what you mean though

yes but the air is being forced into the throttle bodies not breathing naturally which is what they are usually associated with

not read the full threar, but they can, jamie going has parallel tb's and turbo on his 1.9cvh escort years ago, you just need a sealed plenum chamber round the tbs for the air to be forced into, mapping can be a bit of an arse but the results are worth it.
