Got a running problem with the nova at the moment, and i dont want to send it to an auto electrician for them to hit me with a few hundred pound bill when i could put that towards a LET

car starts idles rough, touch accelerator and it cuts out, gettin fuel and spark..

LET or fix the XE mmmmmm

sounds likely to be a sensor gone silly... air flow or o2 at a guess...
is it stinking of fuel??

or a really REALLY clogged ICV perhaps?

do the paperclip test and see what comes up and look on topbuzz.co.uk to find out what the fault codes are and then fix the problems

changed the following parts

Dizzy, TPS, AFM, crank sensor, plugs/leads

added extra earth straps..

gettin a few faults coming up on the paper clip test.. ive replaced the parts and still gettin them same faults.. i would prob be best to get another wiring loom.. but i cant be assed lol

Old engine is gone mate! otherwise it wouldve been in already..

if i do LET it, i will put it off the road until sometime next year i think, make sure all the correct bits are their. it is turning me on the thought of a LET nova though

why not get the XE up and running again, and thrash that about whilst accumulating all the bits you need to create a beast of a LET Nova

i think ive managed to acquire another ecu for the car, want to get another engine loom and go from their, but cant get on migweb at the moment..
