for no less than $28million, although Manchester Utd have not yet shown interest in him, he is able to leave for the asking price above, Man Utd should take a gamble I reckon, sad day for me if eventually goes though.

Still got Senna to finalise and theres talk of Hargreaves being a traget. Unsure if we'll go for him or not.

IMO you need Tevez more than Senna or Hargreaves, especially after buying an overpriced Carrick.

He does seem a good buy, plenty of years in him. I'd quite like to see Hargreaves there though.

I Fergy could turn back time, to not buy Carrick, get Tevez and Hargreaves for not much more.

$28m is a pittance for someone of his potential IMO...

Well yes, but this is a catch 22 situation for him, he doesn't want to leave, but feels he has no choice with all the gripe he's getting from angry supporters at Paulista.

Aren't Cor. bottom of the Brazilian league?
Double swoop for Mascherano/Tevez?
I remember when Arsenal 'signed him' a few years ago for £4.5m but it fell apart

They were but it's like Arsenal being bottom after a few games, he was in the staff car park after a 2-0 defeat to Palmeiras when some supporters threw stones at his car, carrying his wife and 2 kids.

some of the Argie hooligans are mad, like 1000's of them sitting together, would hate to be on that side when they lost.

Only off the Argentinians, Corinthians recently played against River Plate (mascheranos old club) in the Copa Liberatodores, I was over in Sao Paolo at the time and dad got us tickets, Macherano got sent off in a fierce game, crowd were fighting like warriors, think Mourinho went to the first leg in Buenos Aries.

There isn't many foreigners in their side though.....
Tevez - arg
Mascherano - arg
Seba - arg
Johnny Herrera - Chile
All the rest are Brazilians.

Wish Liverpool would go in for him (we've that sort of money for one player if Rafa wants him) but think it Utd came in he would go there.

He is the only guy I could see who could POSSIBLY replace RVN. You need another midfielder aswell though (aswell as Senna whose price could be more than thought after his clubs comments today) which might leave you a bit short of money for him.

I still could'nt see him with a game:goal ratio like RVN.... 150 goals in 218 games is quite something

true, but players like RVN are very very rare and it'll be a long time before you get another forward like that IMO. So you best bet is getting someone who might get close to that, and Tevez certainly fits that bill IMO.

Are there any strikers as lazy as RVN out there?

Lazy or not, he did what his job is, and thats to score a hell of a lot of goals. Would of loved him to come to us for a few seasons, he is what we need!
