hey guys.

i seem 2 have developed a bad oil leak!
it doesnt leak if u havent got the car running

when it is, after about 30seconds - 1 minute

it runs down the lip of the sump by the bottom pulley, collect at the edge, then drips off, and a pretty fast 1 at that.

any ideas guys

im hoping its just my sump gasket and not the oil pump gasket cus thats gonna b a right bitch if it is!

let me know guys any advice n ideas is gr8!!

It its around the crank pulley area i'd say crankshaft seal.

was the oil pump gaskets on my old Astra GTE 16v...

it leaked so fast when driving the car that it burned off the hot exhaust...

If it is only leaking when the car is running then you can pretty much bet its the Oil pump gasket ,as they are pretty much common on these and the LETS mine was doing the same thing! when speaking to someone on here that is what they adviced me and they were right!

sorted it guys, it was the front crank oil seal.

she's loverly now! while i was at it i dod the oil pumo gasket and fresh new sump gaskets
