Inlet is plastic on the C16xe
X16xe and EGR crap and SAI
Exhaust system is the same
Bigger valves on the C16XE
C16xe has airflow meter X16xe has MAP sensor
Different throttle body
ummm..... think thats it

thought the throttle body was the same
theres an extra oilway drilling in the c16 head too
yes the exhaust will fit, but not the standard x16 manifold cuz of the sai hole.

different compression, c16 has 2Nm more torque, but 500rpm lower, and 2kW more at 500rpm lower. inlet vavle diameters are slightly larger on the c16 too

head gasket is thinner on the C, making the CR 11:1 not 10.5:1
inlet cam is supposedly different, but not been able to measure this still.
EGR ports are cast in the C head, but the lower manifold blocks it off.
The manifold, down pipe and cat are different, but a X will bot on fine.
everything else has been covered already.

James, the pistons must run real close to the head on the C16XE. they were on the X16XE and thats with a thicker gasket...

they still run damn close though. any timing error and imagine the piston slap. i guess thats why these engines fail so catastrophically from a belt failure.
