If your downloading a torrent which includes multiple movie files, how can you view any of them before the whole download has completed?

skip the other in the download so it only concentrates on downloading that file... ie does it quikcer :S

dont think you can, torrents download in a totally strage way its not like part 1,2,3 ect in order, its like part 34, 18,19,24 of a file.

so you cant view the file till its 100%, could be talking crap though never really looked into it that much.

If it downloads them as .rar files you can rename them to .vob and play in PowerDVD - it doesn't always work, about a 50/50 chance.

.rar's can be any thing you put in the archive aint they.

With azureus as well you can choose which particular file you wanna download within a bunch of them

That will be working with rar because a vob is already compressed as mpeg2.
If the rar doesn't compress it much more certain programs will probably be able to pick out the video information from the little bit of rar information.

Torrents work like that so the bits that people are wanting the most are the bits that everybody is sharing so it gets to everybody much faster.
It's not random.
